Prayer - an Anime Version

Of all the versions I've seen of Prayer of the Children, this anime version I found to be intriguing. It tells its own story while still being in sync with the lyrics of the song. The author explains her view of the work this way:

This is the song "The Prayer of the Children" to the anime "Grave of the Fireflies." Making this video was the whole reason I wanted to learn to make amv's. I spent a lot of time on it, so if nobody likes it I will be sad. T_T
I really felt the need to make this, considering the United States' "War on Terror." Hopefully the way I feel is made very clear.

I"m honored that she would use my song to accompany her movie.
